Sarah Uhran has spent her career working with global brands and professional athletes. From building their brands to managing their personal lives to relocating them around the world she has been an integral part of their day to day lives.
When you ask Sarah how she got to where she is today- off the field manager for over 10 elite athletes and published author on the challenges an athlete faces when they go pro, her response is simply- “I am not sure, but I am so grateful that I found my way here.”
Ask anyone, her passion is people. So she figured out how to make that passion a career. Day to day she helps young and veteran athletes excel at the highest level and achieve their dreams, beyond their sport. It is not an easy career choice or a simple one, but she wakes up every day excited about her clients, their success and their potential.
Sarah graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 with a degree from the Mendoza College of Business. She worked in sales, marketing and the startup world prior to launching The APC Agency. In 2009 when she launched The APC Agency she could not have imagined where it would take her. The APC Agency was founded as a small concierge service on Nantucket. Who would have thought it would grow into an exclusive lifestyle management service for some of the best athletes in sports?
While the clientele and the location has changed since 2009, The APC Agency mission statement is the same, eliminate distractions for pro athletes by taking care of their day-to-day needs so that they can focus on their sport, their family, and their business ambitions.
All the steps that Sarah took to get where she is now are valuable for every single athlete that she works with today and in the future. She was not given an easy path to get into the sports world that she had always loved—there were more than several challenges. Yet, Sarah navigated her way through a lot to stand out and to become the expert. Sarah is driven by the same mindset that drives each of her athletes: pure passion and the desire to always win. She won’t settle for anything but the best for her clients and for herself, and the word “impossible” does not exist.
On a personal note, Sarah is an avid sports fan, an outdoor enthusiast, a runner, dog mom to Burt The Dog, and she is brutally honest with a side offering of sarcasm, so get ready!
